Oh boy! Two blog posts in one day! This past weekend I decided to take a break from cleaning, painting walls and prepping my house to sell and play in the studio instead.
This post is for my tag for the Tim Holtz monthly challenge. For this month's tag I decided to do a pocket page for my tag book. The page got the same treatment with tissue tape, paints and inks that the tag got. And instead of attaching all those goodies to the bottom of the tag where they wouldn't be seen I attached them to the pocket instead.
I used the Schoolhouse stencil as I didn't have the Typo stencil - yet! I love the idea of using texture paste with embossing powers. It really adds LOTS of texture - and you know how I love texture!
To reinforce the pocket I wrapped the edges with tissue tape and poked a brad through each corner (one is embellished with a gear and a spinner).
Oh! And I learned that Archival Ink is embossable! How cool is that!?
