I got my tag done for the 12 Tags of 2013 just under the wire! I didn't think I'd have time to get it done, but....
I also wasn't feelin' the Valentine vibe this year as my divorce was just recently finalized. But life goes on and I am doing just fine - thank you very much! This year I am concentrating on me and one of the things I want to do is visit France; Paris, Brittany, Provence - all of it!
So I found an old favorite stamp - one of the first ones I ever bought - from Stampers Anonymous; The Eiffel Tower stamp. It's still a favorite.
Here you can see the layered effect. I stamped the image three times. Once on the tag and twice on watercolor paper. I proceeded to color the images with my Distress Markers and Waterbrush from Tim Holtz. Then I fussy cut the images and layered them with foam tape.
I used the Carte Postale Texture Fade and KraftCore paper and ran it through my trusty Vagabond. Then I sanded it to bring out the pattern, tore & distressed the edges and glued it in place. I didn't have the punch he uses for the Cash Key so I used one of the sticker frames as a template. Worked like a charm - no pun intended!
