I found this wonderful artist's blog where she offers backgrounds and headers for free. Although if you feel guilty for using her beautiful art and not paying for it you can donate through Paypal. She has a 'Donate' button on the right side of her blog. They are SOOOO much prettier and fit my style better than any of the Typepad stock headers, etc!
I'm off to the studio. Working on class samples for Fall/Winter. I am teaching at three stores now so it's getting busier. Class sign ups were HORRIBLE this summer. I cancelled more classes than I taught due to lack of sign-ups. I have a student minimum of 3 and I can't even hit that. Feedback from the stores is that customers LOVE the ideas & samples, say they will sign up - just not at that moment and then never do. I hope Fall is better. I am focusing on quick, giftable type things that have a lot of impact but don't cost a lot of $$$. Jewelry, hand bound books, altered everyday items.
