I'm on a Steampunk craze and I just can't stop - not that that's a bad thing! LOL! My local ATC Swap Group is doing an Altered Altoids Tin swap in July. Since I'm very limited in what I can do around the house because of my shoulder (possible Rotator Cuff problem) I thought I'd get ahead on my Altoids Tin. I totally embraced the genre! Images and papers from the kit, along with some of the doodads, window die from Memory Box, rubber stamps by Oxford Impressions, embossing powder, paints and most of the gears are from Tim Holtz (can't begin to tell you how many packages of these gears I have bought over the years - love them!
Once I was done with the tin I just wanted to keep going so I ended up making a necklace & earring set using more images from the kit (though I did resize them), bezels, glass & chain from Craft Fantastic - and- of course - more of my favorite gears!
I almost don't want to trade this tin. It's become one of my very favorite pieces! I think that's why I created the Steampunk Jewels set. Kinda takes the edge off of having to trade my tin!
OK; now for the pics!
