After a week of painting the ceilings of my house I decided that I deserved (earned!) a day of play. So into the studio I went to create my page for Tim Holtz's 12 Tags of 2016 monthly challenge. My page, while incorporating the basic techniques for this month is a bit different from his tag. First I don't have the Frankenstein die he used but I really wanted to use his scary raven die (it's an older Bigz die with a scaredy cat) because I had this Kraft scrapbook paper with Edgar Allen Poe's The Raven printed on it in a creepy, old fashioned font. I REALLY wanted to use that paper! I also didn't want to cover it all (kinda defeats the purpose) So I just used a few pieces from the ephemera pack. I also repeated the techniques on the back of the page. Oh! And I REALLY wanted to use the new drippy blood thinlet die he just released! LOVE IT! I think it will also make great icicles with white cardstock or clear acetate and lots of Rock Candy glitter!
