I have decided to do a mini renovation of the bathroom and yes, the house is still on the market. The first part (that I can do) is done. I painted the vanity base with Annie Sloan's Chalk Paint in Pure White along with the medicine cabinet mirror frame and the two shell art shadowboxes on the wall. It looks so bright and cheery now that I can't wait to get the rest done. I'm replacing the floor, toilet and vanity top/sink. And if I have money left in the budget I would really like to frame the existing mirror. The vanity top/sink will be a cultured marble. Because it's a custom configuration I have to have it custom made so I might as well go all out! I thought I had picked out a floor tile - that I loved - that would work. Unfortunately not, so back to Lowe's for other options. I'll keep posting pics of any updates. Just hoping for a smooth project as I have to use professionals for the plumbing and construction. I'm going to work with Lowe's. They did a great job installing the new carpet in the Guest Room and the new bathroom faucet last spring.
