I finished my ATCs for the next Lost Art Creations ATC swap on January 21st. Phew! Now onto creating the next kit! I'm glad I didn't wait until the last minute because these kinda kick my butt. Combining so much color and pattern onto a 2.5"x3.5" surface is just not my norm and it was HARD! I did use some masterboard collages cut down to ATC size for some of the backgrounds and I played with a couple of Gwen LeFleur's new stencils from Stencil Girl. They fit right into the theme and I LOVE them! Almost everything I used was in the kit except the previously mentioned, the brads, the Dresden borders and some of the bling.
This swap theme was totally inspired by the new PBS show that was on this fall, called Indian Summers. It is visually stunning, not to mention a VERY interesting storyline. Can't wait til it resumes in 2016! I ended up doing 13 even thought the swap only requires 9. That way everyone can get one of mine and maybe, just maybe I'll get to keep one. We'll see!
That's it for now. The next kit is a theme close to my heart and is proving difficult to pull together stuff for but should be fun and cool to make!
