For his card I also got my inspiration from a card (Stampin Up!) I saw on Pinterest. I used a Spellbinders feather die which I die cut out as a frame from denim blue cardstock, saving the blue feather for inside the card. I then die cut the feather 3 times from white cardstock, swiping one with Distress Ink in Stormy Sky. Then I layered them as shown to create a white edge all around. On a scrap piece of white cardstock I I applied strips of Washi tape then layered the feather frame over it. I had this cool piece of blue handmade paper that looked like fabric (and the bottom edge was deckled already so I left it) which I ran through my machine with a Sizzix embossing folder. I finished it with a bit of Jute twine and an antique MOP button. Everything is layered on top of a Kraft cardstock card.
