I am home today enjoy the first weekend of 60+ temps, playing in the studio, all the windows in the house thrown open to let in some fresh, spring air - ahhhhhh.... lovin it! I started my day trying to work on a set of altered art blocks that Amy Bowerman had given me to art up when she, Anita Houston & Eileen Hull visited Westbrook a couple weeks ago. My original plan was to do a springtime in Paris theme but that didn't work out because elements I wanted to use were just thaaat much to big. SOOOO onto plan B. Unfortunately they will have to wait until Tim Holtz's sea themed dies come out in July ( :( ) Here's hoping they are released early 'cause I'm not very good at waiting - LOL!
Next up was to work on my ATC for Tim's 12 Tags of 2014. I only made a minor change or two to fit the ATC size. LOVE the new Frameworks Dies! The one he used was the very first one I got when they came out - woohoo! I didn't make my rose - it's by Prima. I simply colored it with some Distress Inks and Biscotti Perfect Pearls Mist. I also had to cut the Trellis die to make it work on an ATC. To bad the background is so covered up. It actually came out pretty cool!
